Can.1585 A person who has a favorable legal presumption is freed from the burden of proof which then devolves upon the other party. Can.1586 The judge is not to formulate
presumptions which are not determined by law unless they arise from a certain and determined fact which is directly connected with the subject matter of the controversy.
